Motorcars Acura Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty

To further enhance your Acura ownership experience, Motorcars Acura is proud to introduce the Motorcars Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty, available only at Motorcars Acura. Motorcars Acura warrants to the original retail purchaser of each new genuine Acura replacement part (excluding accessories and consumable parts as listed below) that such part installed at Motorcars will be free from defects in material or workmanship*. This would exclude any outside influence, abuse, or misuse. Coverage under the Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty includes the labor to replace the covered replacement part. This warranty is nontransferable.

Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty Details

Beginning with repairs dated on or after August 1st, 2019 the original retail purchaser of a new genuine Acura replacement part purchased and installed by Motorcars Acura will be eligible for a 3 Year / 36,000-Mile Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty*. The first year or 12,000 miles is covered by Acura. The following 2 years or 24,000 miles is covered by Motorcars Acura. Parts sold over the counter that are not installed by Motorcars Acura are not covered by this warranty.

For the first year or 12,000 miles, repairs made under this warranty can be executed at any authorized Acura dealer in the United States. Repairs made under the following 2 years or 24,000 miles MUST BE PERFORMED AT MOTORCARS ACURA BY MOTORCARS ACURA. Motorcars Acura will not reimburse a customer for repairs made during this time at another facility, no exceptions.

As part of the vehicle’s normal service and maintenance requirements, certain parts need to be replaced due to wear and tear. Those parts are excluded from Motorcars Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty. These parts include, but may not be limited to, the following:

*Parts installed as part of a collision repair are not covered by the Motorcars Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty.

* OEM or aftermarket parts installed on a vehicle with performance racing alterations are only covered by the warranty supplied by the manufacture of the part.

* Parts installed on a vehicle with an odometer that has been altered are not covered by the Motorcars Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty.

* Parts replaced under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or under any other warranty are not covered by this warranty regardless of customer participation.

*Repairs made by Motorcars Acura using aftermarket replacement parts carry a 1 year /12,000-mile warranty and or whatever warranty is provided by the manufacture of the part. Repairs made under this 1 year / 12,000-mile period must be made at Motorcars Acura, by Motorcars Acura, no exceptions.
